My pal Youtube sensation Ken Tanaka, got me involved with a fundraiser show that he was participating in called “100 Artists See Satan”. So I made my Satan piece inspired by some of the stuff that had been bullying me mentally for the last few months. I went down to Uno Letterpress and with the help of KunChe, cranked out (quite literally) an edition of 50 prints. Thanks KunChe! I turned in my piece, an 8″x10″ three color linocut letterpress and since I was doing an edition I decided to price it at 30 dollars. I initially only gave the gallery one to with the agenda to pedal my print at Comic Con, but it sold off the site before the show opened so I turned in all 50 (Yes I’m greedy). As it turned out, there were some heavy hitters in the show, such as Todd Schorr, Robert Williams, and Paul Frank! Jesus, I mean Satan! With prices reaching the something like $10,000.00 plus for some items, it occurred to me that the average social deviant such as myself would love to contribute, but needed art that was more of a tasting menu in price. That being said, we’ll see if my every man print finds its way into the homes of the Satan worshipers everywhere. Oh yeah, I titled it: “Foolhardy”

Still wanting to have stuff to sell at Comic Con I will be making a silkscreen of this print, larger and in a different color scheme. It should look something like this:
