Sweet and Simple: Wired Magazine!

In a strange flash flood of opportunity I’ve gotten a nice wave of work to come my way.  It all started one morning with an email from Wired Magazine to do a three panel comic for a pre-scripted dialog having something to do with a puzzle.  Then a couple of days later I was contacted by Backpacker Magazine to do the cover for their winter catalog, SNEWS.  Shortly after that I got hit up by Nylon Magazine to do a portrait of Lemmy from Motorhead!!  I can’t believe how awesome all the work I’ve been getting lately!  But wait, THERE IS MORE!!!  About a week ago I get an email from Harper’s Magazine to do the cover.  WAIT, HOLD ON, WHAAAAAAAAT? So that was totally amazing.  The art director sent me a sample of the format I was to work with,  andthatsamplewas… Tomer Hanuka!!  Whaaaaaat?  Needless to say I have been nothing less than totally stoked-  I knew that I had to share the news with my dedicated fan base (Mom and Dad).  I can’t show everything because it hasn’t all published yet, but I can show you Wired.  A little information to set the mood for the comic you are about to see, when illustrating, be sure to use photo reference so that you can have an excuse to put yourself and your friends in a magazine!! Muhahahaha!  Oh, Cam and I only wish we had a TV that big in the Illustration Command Center aka the I.C.C., not to be confused with Ice Cream Cone or Isabel’s Cabbage Company.

pssst…Wired, January issue page 70!  WHAAAAAAAAAT!!!
